Post-Covid Syndrome

For many people around the world, Covid-19 does not end after the acute infection phase.

Dr Anthony Fauci has said that an “extraordinary” number of survivors develop symptoms that are “strikingly similar” to chronic fatigue syndrome, also sometimes called post-viral fatigue syndrome.

[A CDC survey][0] of 292 people who overcame Covid-19 found more than a third had lingering fatigue two to three weeks after testing positive.

**Fatigue is just ONE of the symptoms that people have reported over the last several months.**

While some symptoms may seem unrelated, practitioners of Chinese Medicine are trained to analyze symptoms and signs to come upon a comprehensive diagnosis. We take the whole person into account- every sign and symptom is important and relevant and leads us to a specific diagnosis. We base our treatments on this diagnosis. Comprehensive individualized care is the strength of the Chinese Medicine.

After an infection with Covid-19, people around the world have been experiencing fatigue, anxiety, excessive sweating, insomnia, shooting pains, shortness of breath, lingering cough, phlegm, rashes, digestive upset, and neurological symptoms like fuzzy head, dizziness and more. This is a multi-system infection that can have wide-ranging consequences. **Luckily, Chinese medicine is well positioned to take the wide variety of symptoms into account and can help people improve their health for a full recovery.**

[Chinese Herbal Medicine has been effective in treating the early stages of Covid, can lessen the time of illness, prevent and treat post-Covid syndrome.][1]
