Reishi, or Ling Zhi, is known as the mushroom of immortality. The earliest mention of Ling Zhi was in the era of the first emperor of China, Shinghuang of the Ch'in Dynasty 221-207 B.C.E. Reishi and Shitake are rich source of beta glucans. Reishi alone has over 400 bioactive compounds. Beta glucans are known to modulate the immune system, so this lotion may be beneficial for auto immune type skin reactions.

For skin calming and moisturizing benefits, organic Argan oil, vitamin E, evening primrose oil, and organic Sea Buckthorn oil make this lotion extra rich and luxurious. It is Sea Buckthorn oil that gives this lotion it’s distinctive yellow color. Apricot Kernel oil provides more antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamins to the skin while organic Shea Butter, Kokum butter and Aloe deeply moisturize. Hyaluronic Acid helps retain moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.

The main scent, Organic Lavender Essential oil, helps us adapt to life’s stresses.
