Tiny Seeds, Big Shifts: How Ear Seeds Bring Balance & Relief

When you think of acupuncture, you probably picture fine needles placed along the body’s meridians. But did you know there’s a whole map of points right on your ear that can support your whole body?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the ear is seen as a microsystem — a miniature map of your entire body. Each point on the ear corresponds to an organ, system, or emotion. By stimulating these points, we can help restore balance and encourage the body’s natural healing response.

What Are Ear Seeds?
Ear seeds are tiny seeds (often from the vaccaria plant) or small metal beads that are placed on specific acupressure points on the ear using a small adhesive patch. They’re completely non-invasive — no needles, just gentle pressure you can apply yourself.

Benefits of Ear Seeds:

  • Reduce stress and calm the mind

  • Support sleep and hormonal balance

  • Help curb cravings

  • Relieve headaches and tension

  • Aid digestion and energy flow

What to Expect
At your session, we’ll identify the points that match your current needs — whether you’re managing anxiety, regulating hormones, or supporting a wellness goal. The seeds stay in place for 3–5 days, and you can gently press them for 30–60 seconds a few times a day to boost their effects.

A Little Ritual You Can Take Home
Ear seeds aren’t just about physical balance — they can become a daily moment of mindfulness. Each time you press the seed, you’re reconnecting with your body’s wisdom.

Curious to try ear seeds? We offer them as an add-on to acupuncture sessions or as a stand-alone mini service. They’re a small shift that can bring surprisingly big results.
